Programs, Activities & Events

Langley Pond Park is a nationally recognized park and venue in Aiken County, where it is known for its fantastic facilities and events. Having hosted over 50 local, regional, and national level rowing events, Langley Pond Park quickly became a prominent rowing location before the 1996 Olympics. Langley Pond features a 2000 meter rowing course with eight fully buoyed lanes. Facilities include a boat ramp with new boat dock, trailer parking for boats, swim area, concession stand, large picnic shelter, grills, playground, and expanded sandy beach.

The 2.8 mile Langley Pond Loop Trail was installed in 2015 and also equestrian friendly. The Loop Trail features a white-sand trail that winds through the shaded woods of Langley Pond Park. The Loop Trail hosts 5 or more 5K trail runs each year, and is perfect for all levels of walkers/runners/joggers/dog walkers/equestrian riders. Built in 2016 and making its name nationally, the Langley Pond Disc Golf Park is truly a one a kind disc golf facility. The 18-hole championship level course challenges the best disc golfers in the world. Each hole has an amateur short tee box and professional long distance tee box, which allows the course to be played completely different from each tee box. Various elevations, mature hardwood trees, and tricky water holes stretch across the property. A 2 basket putting area and 4 tee pad driving range with distance markers separates Langley Pond Disc Golf Park from most courses across the United States.

Langley Pond Park is the perfect place for rowing regattas and winter training, wakeboard, water ski, and jet ski competitions, 5K trail events, triathlons, special events and festivals, fishing contests, along with corporate or family picnics. Langley Pond has recently added a Finish Line Tower for rowing events, spectator and rowing docks, and a large inclusive playground as part of the park rebuild in 2022, as well as many other amenities as part of the park master plan.
